Over the last seven years my lung disease has become more severe, requiring more medication and the side effects of medication more intrusive.
I am not just my lungs. I am a sibling, spouse, parent, grandparent, colleague, friend, doctor, writer, quilter, dog companion.
Some days it’s easier to remember all that.
